Are You Decorating Your House For Christmas This Year??

dear friends,.

as many of you may remember, last year our cute "frosty" was attacked and our home and car egged by jws on new years eve.

it's hard to believe another year has almost passed.

As many of you may remember, last year our cute "frosty" was attacked and our home and car egged by JWs on New Years Eve. It's hard to believe another year has almost passed. When asked why did they do it, the dubs said they were mad because it appeared we were celebrating Christmas. Which we were, but from the outside we only had a "frosty". No real lights, just some little twinkle lights wrapped around two potted trees on either side of our door, and a wreath.

But this year.....LOOK OUT DUBS!! If you didn't like what we had last year, your going to hate what we have in store for this year!! Yes we are gearing up..purchased all our lights for the roof, and bushes. Purchased holographic candy cane lights for our walkway, two reindeer..one is animated, and plenty of garlands and wreaths for our windows, door and porch columns. Of course we repaired frosty, so he will return to our winter scene. Thinking of purchasing a "Happy Holidays" or "Merry Christmas" sign for the front of my house!!

Oh..cannot forget the wreath with a big red bow I will be putting back on my front bumper of my car. My husband wants one too this year!!

I am sure we will get the dub "drive bys" this year..,only they had better leave their eggs behind or we will prosecute them again!!

What are all of you planning?? This will be our first Christmas we will decorate outside. WE CAN NOT WAIT!!

Note how many times the belief was abandoned or replaced. Keep in mind the claim to be God's only chosen organization on earth, who are Spirit Directed.

What is interesting is that if they truely where Spirit Dirtected as they claim, these dates would have NEVER been abandoned, but would have come to pass. Remember the scripture that says..not one word will return to me without results....?? Remember this was "food at the proper time".

The question is was it food from Jehovah and Jesus, or just mere men??

WELCOME to the forum! Your kids are very very fortunate to have such a loving caring parent as you. And a brave one at that! So many are in fear of the elders that they would never be able to stand up for whats right, let alone try to get answers for their doubts. I encourage you to get another copy of COC. I am sure it will be of much benefit in helping confirm to you you are doing the right thing by your kids, and Jehovah and Jesus. Hopefully you will be able to reason with your wife. Please keep us posted as to how things progress and again, WELCOME.

WTS sending "English teachers" to China?

hello all, from a newbie.. i haven't been inside a kingdom hall since 1999, so i'm not up to speed with "organizational" stuff.

i still get curious, though, since my mom and sister are still active witnesses (but don't communicate with me).

the other day, an old friend from my former congregation (she's the wife in the only family who will still talk with me, even though i was never df'd) came by the house, i assume while making a return visit.

Dare a married guy meet up with his teenage infatuation? HELP!

almost 25 years ago, at 17, i fell under the spell of this gorgeous, sexy, blond sister from a neighboring cong'.

i carried this crush like a pathetic puppy for almost 2 years, never summoning the nerve to ask her out.

i deservedly lost the girl.

I haven't had time to read everyones replys to you, so sorry if this has been already said. Does this woman know you are married? Yet does she still trying to give you her phone number and hook up with you?? If this is the case BEWARE! Think beyond the obvious for a moment.

Ok..let's just say you meet with her and through a series of events decide life with her must be better then the wife you are currently married to. What would make you think that she wouldn't tire of you in time and chase another married man? Break your heart and leave you just the way you left your wife hanging?

This exact thing happened to my ex brother in law!! Fortunately for my sister, she moved on and found another man, but her ex husband is now all alone, sad and miserable because his idea of what life would be like with someone else fell quite short of his expectations! Now my sister has someone to grow old with and he doesn't.

My ex brother in law was dumped after 2 years of being with this other woman that he left my sister for. And guess what, this woman ended up cheating on him with another married man. Sometimes people only like the challenge or excitement of chasing married people. Then once they have conquered them and the excitement is gone they look for someone else to conquer. When he was dumped flat on his butt he called my sister and apologised for what he had done to her years earlier, as he explained he know knows the pain he must have caused her.

He has been miserably single for many years now after deciding to leave his wife for someone who he had built in his mind what life would be like. It was a high price to pay, he has two children who he left when he left my sister. Now after things have all washed up, after 6 years, he is the sad miserable soul, who you can see in his eyes everytime we drop off the kids to his house how he looks at my sister wishing they were still together.

So..my friend..think long and hard about what you are contimplating starting. Apparently if this woman knows you are married she has no respect for you or the one you have loved enough to marry. And keep in mind too, that life changes people, she is not the same person that you knew. You could be dreaming about the what ifs about a person who physically is the same but mentally and morally etc, may not be the person you have built her in your mind but is based off a old memory.

PLEASE think hard about what you are entertaining..sounds like you have alot to lose if you take this gamble.
